We offer a wide range of printing services from the simplest single-color to more complex 4-color process.
The AB Dick Press prints small documents from 3 x 5 to 11 x 17 including envelopes, letterheads, and carbonless forms.
Our classic Heidelberg GTO 46 is the standard in the industry for creating high quality single-color documents up to 11 x 17 and is used mainly for reproducing forms, booklets, and newsletters.
The Heidelberg GTO-52 provides high-quality professional offset printing with high reliability in production. Typical print jobs are 4-Color Process (CMYK) brochures as well as spot color newsletters with the image area up to 14 x 20. The GTO-52 perfects which allows us to print both sides of a sheet in one color/one pass through the press.
We match the job to the type of press needed to produce it in the most efficient and economical way possible without compromising quality.
The HP 5500PS is a large format 6-color ink jet printer capable of producing photo quality images up to 3.5’ x 6’ in size. The plotter produces fast, high-quality printing in exceptionally rich, vibrant colors using environmentally friendly vegetable based inks. Depending on the type of media chosen, posters will be considered green!
Other enhancements to your projects which can be added to create a more professional appearance are laminating and mounting on a variety of substrate material such as foam core, eco-board, or gator-board. We can also have your logos and marketing concepts produced in a variety decal, vinyl, or PCV material.
The best designs communicate clearly with their intended audience. Our competent design staff can assist you in design or act as a consultant in preparing your files for the printing process. All typesetting is done in-house and the department is responsible for all pre-press functions such as proofing and plate making.
From printing to the mailroom, rely on us to get your mailing out in a timely manner. We will provide the best possible postage rate available for the type of mailing you are doing. It is a cost effective way to get your message to a large audience.
Inserting – we are able to insert up to 5 pieces into #9, #10, #11, or #12 envelopes, add postage, and pickup by Records Management for mailing.
Mail List Preparation – forward your database to Reprographics@sonoma-county.org so we may format your mailing list checking it with the Moved On software from USPS. We'll then label your project and have it picked up by Records Management for mailing for you.
Tabbing – US Postal regulations require self-address documents to be tabbed prior to mailing.

Printsmith, the software program we use to run our printing operation also allows us to track budget information by department. If you need assistance in tracking your printing expenditures, we can help.
The Xerox 6135 is the workhorse of our copy center, reproducing 135 ppm at 600 dpi. It streamlines digital operations by reproducing on-demand both single and duplex documents as large as 11x17 and the document finisher offers collating, stapling, and tape binding.
This equipment provides a common workflow across digital systems and ensures the highest levels of productivity in our environment by integrating with the new Xerox 700 Digital Color Printer.
The Xerox 700 Digital Color copier expands our capabilities by providing exceptional image quality at 70 ppm. The new high-resolution 2400 x 2400 dpi produces eye-catching color documents and sharp, clean photographs on both coated and uncoated paper up to 13 x 19.
